Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct has been adopted in consultation with parents, educators and learners. It is aimed at establishing a disciplined and purposeful learning environment, and is based on respect for self, others and the environment. It is aimed at being corrective rather than punitive, with sanction being age appropriate. A Disciplinary Hearing may be held for very serious misdemeanors (e.g. possession of drugs/alcohol/weapon on property, on-going serious bullying), with a view to suspension or applying to the Education Department for expulsion. Every case is taken on individual merit. The Code of Conduct is available for perusal on request at the main office.
